JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for providing leadership to all Contracting District Sales Managers in the assigned territory. The RSM ensures successful sales growth of Belimo products within the geographic area assigned, based on qualitative and quantitative objectives.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Regional Sales Manager is part of the US Sales team and reports to the Vice President, Sales US and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop goals and strategies aimed at earning incremental market share and achieving sustainable sales growth, while optimizing the Belimo customer experience and loyalty.
  • Build, maintain, and continually enhance a team culture aligned with Belimo’s values and focused on building relationships to provide outstanding service, product knowledge and application expertise for all Belimo customers.
  • Collaborate with other leaders in the US Sales team to develop and lead strategies and actions.  This includes Head of Key Accounts, Americas;  Manager, Field Applications, Americas;  Manager, Distribution Sales, US; Manager, RetroFIT+, Americas;  Manager, Strategic Markets & Sales Channels, Americas;  VP, Sales US.
  • Monitor and analyze territory sales, driving actions to ensure business objectives are met.  
  • Provide leadership and coaching to all Contracting District Sales Managers (direct reports) in the assigned territory to assist in the attainment of their sales objectives and continued development.  Ensure the District Sales Managers, as opportunity brokers, proactively collaborate with and leverage other available sales resources.  These include Application Consultants, Business Development Managers, and Key Account Managers.
  • Leverage Belimo’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, personally and with team member usage, to provide focus, organization, and prioritization of weekly and monthly activities, as well as measuring progress towards objectives.
  • Establish annual Region sales expense budget and manage costs to objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years proven track record in a related sales position and experience in the HVAC or related technical field.  Experience leading teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop, motivate and lead others.
  • Strong HVAC / Construction industry knowledge.
  • Strong organizational, inter-personal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven collaboration and relationship building skills (internal and external).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work effectively from home office.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other basic computer skills necessary to complete sales reporting requirements and manage home office.
  • Travel requirement of position is approximately 40%.
     

The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000 - $160,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 35% of an employee’s annual base salary. Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
