JOB SUMMARY

Sales and Estimating Support will build productive business relationships working alongside Belimo District Sales Managers (DSM), Regional Sales Managers (RSM), and Regional Application Consultants (RAC).  Sales and Estimating Support will also have the opportunity to engage directly with customers on behalf of the Belimo sales team.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Team Lead Sales and Estimating Support is part of the Canadian Operations team and reports directly to the Operations Manager, and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Provide daily leadership to the Inside Sales and Estimating Team ensuring a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
•    As a working Team Lead you will be responsible for your own group of customers as well as monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Inside Sales and Estimating Team.
•    Resolving internal and external customer disputes quickly and knowing when to escalate such occurrences to sales or operational management.
•    Identify and help to drive the closure of any system / workflow efficiency opportunities.
•    Support the Inside Sales and Estimating Team with questions and requests coming from quality, product management, and purchasing/planning.
•    Identify and conduct training for current and new employees.
•    Provide support to our Contracting and OEM Sales Managers as requires to ensure a high level of service across all regions
•    Collaborate with DSM and Inside Sales and Estimating Team on the development of a “take-off” based on project design plans and specifications as require
•    Act as interface for field sales team to Engineering and Customization
•    Take ownership of the assigned accounts through proactive inside sales with minimal travel.
•    Manage workload to meet bid deadline requirements
•    Work closely with field sales on project identification and qualification as well as product selection
•    Develop a list of potential bidders based on project specifications and provide appropriate quotes for each bidder.  Forward this information to the respective DSM to proactively pursue these projects.
•    Collaborate with the Region’s inside sales resources (as well as external) to satisfy customer quoting requests, as needed

REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.

•    Must have 2+ years of experience managing a team (Ego drive, empathy, leadership qualities and analytic thinking ability)                                
•    Experience supporting a technical product, preferably in electro-mechanical devices required.

•    3 years of proven track record in a customer support position required.

•  High comfort level on use of the Microsoft Suite of products (Outlook, Dynamics, Word, and Excel).

•  High degree of time management and organization required.

 •  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude.                                                                             
•    Strong technical aptitude to understand Belimo product line

Preferred qualifications:

              Background in supporting manufacturing processes

              Engineering and/or HVAC background

              Experience in Inside Sales/Estimating

The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $90,000 CAD annually with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary.
