JOB SUMMARY
The Field Support Specialist is responsible for external customer support, post installation, while maintaining interaction and communications with various, internal Belimo departments. The Field Support Specialist supplies second level support, CRM (customer relationship management) input.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Field Support Specialist is part of the Product Management organization and reports to the Field Support Manager.
The objectives of this position are fully integrated to the objectives of the Company Mission and Values Policy. It is the responsibility of all employees to perform their duties in accordance with Company Policy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, propose solutions, and provide feedback to quality, engineering, field management and product management on complex issues encountered buy external customers post installation.
- Provides functional and technical leadership for external customer applications.
- Take ownership for customer issues and ensures they are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document all activities within Belimo’s customer relationship management system (CRM).
- Interact will all of the outside sales team, especially the regional sales managers and regional application consultants, to identify quality opportunities per region and communicate any possible sales opportunities.
- Maintains travel schedules for jobsite support.
- Takes active role in assisting and communicating with field management the negotiation process for both product replacement and potential labor claims.
- Identifies and schedules any training needs for both Customers and End Users.
- Attend monthly regional meetings, national sales meetings, and external/applicable industry association meetings (as approved).
REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering/technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Must have a high degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- The ability to operate hand tools, metering devices, climb on ladders, and read schematics is required.
- Fundamental computer skills including Microsoft Office.
- 60% travel is expected for this position.
The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 -$100,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary.
