JOB SUMMARY

The Video Editor is responsible for creating videos for internal and external communications for the Belimo Americas region. The position requires a broad knowledge in the field of video production. From organization, realization, up to post-production. Interest/experience in HVAC industry is an advantage and the ability to work effectively with others to research and gather information is necessary. All actions and tasks are to meet the company’s objectives and brand strategies.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Video Editor reports to the Head of Global Brand Management in Switzerland as well as to the Manager, Marketing Americas and the global video team in Germany. The Video Editor bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Independent and complete realization of video projects in the areas of technical communication, corporate communication, and event communication.
Development of video production at location in the US and acquisition of the necessary equipment in consultation with the global video team.
Development of storyboards in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including Technical Writer.
Planning, organization, and realization of video shoots on site and at off-site locations.
Post-production (editing, color grading, compositing) and delivery of final video formats for various communication channels (e.g. website, social media).
Responsibility for external video agencies and ensuring compliance with existing quality standards and corporate design.
Establishing a local pool of service providers in the field of video and media production with the aim of long-term, trusting cooperation.
Close cooperation in an international team (Switzerland, Germany) and the US Marketing Department.
Support of the AM marketing departments video needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree/education, preferred in the field of media production, media design, multimedia with focus on video production
Extensive knowledge in handling of video equipment (digital film cameras, phone cameras, studio equipment, etc.)
Proficiency in editing software (Davinci Resolve) and graphics applications (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, etc.)
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
HVAC industry experience a plus
Excels in fast paced environment and able to quickly adapt to change
Willingness to travel.
