JOB SUMMARY

The Training Manager – Data Centers is responsible for the training concept and materials for the Data Center Solutions Strategic Initiative.  This includes the development of Data Center Solutions training content for technical, customer and employee audiences.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Training Manager – Data Centers reports to the Global Business Development Manager – Data Centers and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Overall management and development of Data Center Solutions internal and external training program.  
•    Prioritize training projects allocating resources to ensure business objectives are met. 
•    Conduct needs analysis with stakeholders on the development of new training materials. Determine internal and external resources required to deliver training.
•    Apply instructional systems design principles to develop learning solutions using various delivery formats including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led and blended learning. 
•    Provides consultation for development of data center specific training, including research, evaluation and selection of outside consultants and trainers.
•    Facilitate internal workshops on an as needed basis
•    Maintain/update Data Center Solutions training materials, including course and all support materials 
 

REQUIREMENTS

•    BS or BA degree in related field of study
•    Proven track record of 5 years’ experience with curriculum design, development, and delivery of technical and professional training
•    Exceptional classroom facilitation and presentation skills
•    Knowledge of instructional systems design principles
•    Knowledge of adult learning theory and curriculum design
•    Knowledge of evaluation methods (Kirkpatrick)
•    Experience with blended learning techniques and designing online training
•    Experience in developing and measuring evaluations/assessments
•    Excellent written and oral communications and relationship building skills
•    Proven project management experience on projects involving trans-departmental groups
•    Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
 

The base pay for this position ranges from $85,000 - $100,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
