Operational Compliance Engineer (Hybrid)

The Operational Compliance Engineer is responsible for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of local and global processes related to both the Quality Management (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). This position also provides support to the Product Compliance Engineer and Quality Specialist.


The objectives of this position are fully integrated to the objectives of the Company’s Mission and Values. It is the responsibility of all employees to perform their duties in accordance with Company Policy.


The Operational Compliance Engineer is part of the part of the Americas Quality Department and reports to the Manager, Quality and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.


  • Regional lead for ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015 compliance and auditing
  • Lead Trade Regulations compliance (govt., state, and other regulatory)
  • Lead regional UL compliance and corrective activities
  • Lead Quality Management component of domestic Customer Q Audits
  • Generate Certificates of Product Conformance upon customer request
  • Key regional contact for continuous improvement compliance initiatives and reporting
  • Support manufacturing compliance and continuous improvement activities e.g. ESD initiatives
  • Provide support to Product Compliance Engineer and Quality Specialist
  • Support QMS database improvements and maintenance


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering in industrial manufacturing or related fields
  • Demonstrated high degree of data analysis skill
  • ISO and auditing experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with focus on supporting product/process quality
  • Working knowledge of HVAC industry a plus but not required
  • SAP (ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning) familiarity useful but not required
  • Travel Requirement ~15% including international (EU, AP)
