JOB SUMMARY
The Mechatronics Maintenance Technician role is to insure efficiencies of all required processes for the Production Departments.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Mechatronics Maintenance Technician is part of the Production Maintenance Department and reports to Production Maintenance Manager and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Scope of responsibility includes but is not limited to: Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) conveyors, stacker cranes, bin stackers\de-stackers, and conveyance elevators.
- Must have the extraordinary ability to be able to trouble shoot with support of digital documentation and Support Hot Line for the purpose of repairs on business-critical automation architecture.
- Ensure scheduled PM’s are performed on-time, and to process, accordance with company and manufacturers standards.
- Assist in the design, break-down, and set-up of assembly cells and their related equipment.
- Facilitate and coordinate fabrication, repairs, and maintenance from outside sources.
- Record daily work in an operational data base.
- Must have some flexibility in work hours to support repairs on business-critical automation architecture.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of related work in manufacturing environment maintaining Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems.
- Knowledge of sensors, microprocessors, and PLC systems.
- Knowledge/Skill of Electro-mechanical systems and Manufactured Product Test equipment.
- Computer skills: MS Office, SAP, etc.
- Must be able to climb ladders 40ft with provided safety gear, and be comfortable working at that height.

The base pay for this position ranges from $35 - $40 hourly with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary.
