Manager, Project Management (Hybrid)

The Manager, Project Management for Belimo Americas is responsible for providing leadership to a team of project manager(s) that support the business by executing on an establish methodology called the Belimo Project Playbook.  Managing and directing the work of project managers and providing managerial oversight for multiple projects is key to success.  In addition, leading larger-scale high profile projects may be necessary.

The Manager, Project Management is part of the Quality and Customer Service team and reports to the Vice President of this division.  This position bears full responsibility for all agreed upon goals and objectives.  This position is in Danbury, CT.


•    Manage and direct the work of project managers (both direct reports and those outside of the department) and provide high-level oversight for multiple projects.

•    Develop standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling, planning, execution, and close-out effectively helping project managers to move each project to their vision of success.

•    Train project managers, throughout Belimo Americas, on the standard processes for project execution, stressing the importance of standardization across all departments.

•    Consult with upper management to secure project resources which including project managers, subject matter experts, steering committee members, and project team individuals.

•    Manage the overall Belimo portfolio of projects that drive continuous improvement of the Americas’ operations which is utilized for visibility and project tracking.

•    Communicate effectively and timely to all project stakeholders, mainly driven by monthly project updates to the Leadership Team.

•    Consult with business teams and stakeholders to ensure the correct project development model is in utilization (e.g. waterfall vs. agile/iterative methodologies).


•    Five years of project management experience in a device manufacturing environment.
•    Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
•    High degree of time management and organization required.
•    Must have excellent interpersonal skills and maintain both a proactive and positive attitude.
•    Proficient use of personal computer, along with additional software products such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe.
•    Travel requirement for this position is approximately 10%.
