JOB SUMMARY
Manager, Production is responsible for the Production MTS Department Team focusing on Belimo Production Processes. The Manager, Production is to insure efficiencies of all required processes.

The Manager, Production is part of the Belimo Customization (USA) Inc. team and reports to Vice President, Production Americas and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead staffing decisions in cooperation with Human Resources Department and responsible Manager
- Lead, coach, motivate, develop and plan the Manpower of his/her employees and hourly employees in accordance with the Belimo’s organization's management guidelines
- Responsible for Training, Education, Continuation Training and operational excellence in his Area - Motivating employees to meet deadlines, objectives and goals outlined by Belimo
- Conduct employee appraisals, create target agreements, lead discussions on the agreement of operational targets with his/her subordinates upon agreement with the responsible Manager
- Plan and Control own budget (cost, investments, staffing) in cooperation with his/her Manager
- Initiate and support continuous improvement of Processes, Measurements and orchestrate the workflow for all processes in his/her Area
- Responsible for Assembly, Customizing, the right planning and scheduling of Americas customer orders in order to achieve quality, on time delivery at the lowest cost
- Responsible for machineries, furnishing and equipment maintenance and repair activities in close liaison with external and internal service providers
- Accountable for inventory and cycle counting according to Belimo stock policy - Maintain accurate inventory by utilizing Warehouse Management and WIN
- Responsible for inspection, packaging according our engineering and quality standard
- Establish capacity planning targets and measurements for the assigned team (including workforce planning and setting a tendency Policy)
- Monitor deadlines, quality and activities performed within the field of responsibility In case of discrepancies between target and actual, initiate corresponding quality oriented countermeasures and inform his / her Manager
- Ensure appropriate coordination of internal logistics between all involved departments.
Other Duties:
- Accountable for work instructions and departmental processes in place. Develop and Maintain Training Manuals /Procedures in his Area of Responsibility
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean and healthy working environment (HSSE)

REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree or equivalent
- Proficient Computer skills (MS-Office and SAP)
- 5 years supervisory / manager experience
- Background in Manufacturing, Experience in managing a diverse workforce, project management, Mechanical experience preferable
- Ability to communicate both verbally and writing to all levels of management
- Able to make sound Business decisions
- Deal with time constraints and deadlines; skills with manipulating multiple priorities; self -actuated; sense of urgency, detail oriented
- The ability to lead people into achieving high standards and goals
The base pay for this position ranges from $100,000 - $120,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary.
