JOB SUMMARY

Belimo is seeking a Line Leader to support the growing team on 3rd shift.  The Line Leader serves as the right-hand person for either the Production Manager or Group Leader and is responsible to oversee the efficiency and output of potentially several production lines.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The Assembler 2, Line Leader reports directly to Group Leader and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible oversee the efficiency and output of assembly teams with direction from the Group Leader or Production Manager
  • Serve as Group Leader or Production Manager backup
  • Responsible for accurately preparing for production changeovers between products to ensure the highest quality of finished goods
  • Ensure that all assemblies follow standard work instructions and production order
  • Serve as the right-hand to shift leadership, and execute and special tasks within assembly process
  • Manage material transaction in SAP via terminals or handheld scanners
  • Manage label printing for product
  • Coordinate rework processes
  • Provide training support for other assemblers
  • Maintain order at the workplace, in the storage locations, and in rooms of general use
  • Cooperation within assembly team

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum High School education, Associates Degree or College Degree will aid in further promotion
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience, possibly leading small teams
  • Average manual dexterity and mechanical ability necessary
  • Must be able to lift up to 44lbs (20kg)
  • Proficient operation of manufacturing equipment and test equipment
  • Deal with time constraints and deadlines; skills with manipulating multiple priorities; sense of urgency
  • Proficient in the use of computers and other electronic interface equipment
  • SAP knowledge helpful
