JOB SUMMARY

The Team Leader, Verification Center "Control Valves," is responsible for the overall product testing program and Test Lab activities at Belimo Technology (USA), Inc. 

This engineering position interfaces closely with all Belimo Development and Product Management Teams members.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Team Leader, Verification Center "Control Valves" is part of the innovation hub Americas and reports solid line to the local Innovation Hub leader, dotted line to the global head of verification centers to align activities globally, and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Personnel and technical management of the Verification Center "Control Valves" unit with approx. ten employees 
  • Responsible for the development of verification specifications and their automation if necessary
  • Responsible for verification execution, results analysis, bug investigation, and reporting during product development with a focus on integration and system verification
  • Responsible for the strategic planning and enhancement of the verification infrastructure
  • Responsible for the use and maintenance of the verification infrastructure according to safety requirements
  • Global consistency of verification procedures and results
  • Ensures that our credo 'Quality First' is constantly present
  • Coordination of external partners
  • Leads a team of qualified employees in an employee-oriented manner
  • Depending on the department, the teams are made up of engineers, standards specialists, technicians, and trainees
  • Leads the strategic planning and enhancement of the Verification Center "Control Valves"
  • Controlling of current tasks and projects, especially concerning quality, 'Time to Market' and costs
  • Contribute to the definition, improvement, and training of employees, ensure compliance with process flows, work instructions, and Belimo standards by the employees
  • Ensure deputies within the department
     

REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of experience with HVAC systems
  • Engineering or MBA studies at a college or University
  • Proficiency and experience in project & people management
  • Must have organized documentation and exceptional communication skills
  • Experimental test analysis
  • Previous experience in testing products
  • Statistical testing experience
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office
