JOB SUMMARY
As part of the global SAP/ERP business application team you will working closely with the business departments / process owners as 3rd level support on trouble shooting issues as well as how business requirements can be implemented in the SAP/ERP system. The technical solutions must keep the global end-to-end perspective of Belimo in mind. We strive to solve the business requirements within SAP/ERP by having a good balance between following the standards of SAP and added complexity because of business needs.
The main deliveries are SAP/ERP system customization, functional specifications in case of required programming, created in close co-ordination with the implementation team in the SAP business application team, and detailed analyses for issues reported by the business, suitable for communication with the rest of the global SAP business application team.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Global SAP Solutions Architect reports directly to the Head of Product Applications IT/SAP located in Switzerland with a dotted line to the Head of IT, Americas and bears full responsibility for agreed upon goals and objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the business (process owners, regional stake holders) globally as 3rd level support for system/process issues of the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module (former SD) and surrounding systems. Analyse and localize the root causes of issues and resolve them through customization or by creating functional specifications.
- Further optimize and develop the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module to fit Belimo's requirements in close collaboration with the process owners, including customization and creation of functional specifications in case of programming requirements.
- Creation of technical concepts / architectures to implement requirements in close collaboration with the business and global SAP business application team.
- Document existing and to be implemented solutions.
- Be part of the change management team for analysis, decision, and implementation of updates and change requests.
- Be part of project teams
- Keep abreast of the state-of-the art with respect to the assigned SAP module / line-of-business
REQUIREMENTS
- B.S. / B.A. in an applicable field
- Proven track record as solution architect for SD module / Order 2 Cash line of business (at least 5 years' experience); experienced in both customizing and consulting.
- Experience with standard development processes, also modern approaches outside SAP. Ability to locate issues on a technical level (know how to use the debugger) for basic issues.
- Proven track record in a global company, preferably in manufacturing
- Excellent command of English language (written and spoken), ability to understand non-native speakers.
- Must be able to be meticulous in details, communicate clearly.
- Solution oriented behaviour.
- Ability to see the big picture, to plan, and willingness to engage outside the immediate area of responsibility.
- Ability to work in a global, distributed team.
- Ability to handle surprises, conflicts, and to engage with other cultures.
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of time.
- Basic experience with other SAP modules is an asset.
