JOB SUMMARY
The objective of the Applications Manager – Data Centers is to develop and articulate the technical aspects of the Belimo value proposition associated with data center heat rejection solutions to customers and industry stakeholders located worldwide. The Application Manager – Data Centers will be responsible to develop Belimo’s technical collateral related to data center applications. Such collateral may include one or more physical demonstration rigs which will enable data center customers to observe Belimo heat rejection solutions operating under simulated data center conditions. This position will be located in the Americas Region.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Applications Manager – Data Centers will be part of the Belimo Americas organization although it’s focus will be global. The position will report to the Global Business Development Manager - Data Centers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide leadership, education, and support to enable the data center focused Vertical Market and Sales Teams in each region to be successful.
• Develop conceptual designs for physical demonstration rigs which may be used to demonstrate the operation of Belimo field devices in simulated data center operating conditions.
• Work closely with the Regional Business Development Managers – Data Centers, Regional Application Consultants – Data Centers, Sales Teams, and customers to remain fully informed about evolving trends and preferences of data center owners and specifiers.
• Drive close collaboration between Regional Application Consultants – Data Centers through well managed update meetings held on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Develop a project tracking database on CRM to be updated by Regional Business Development Managers – Data Centers and Regional Application Consultants – Data Centers.
• Work on committees and special projects as requested
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• 5 Years of proven track record in consulting engineering, data center design/operations, or applicable experience in the HVAC or related technical field.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, inter-personal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communications and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other computer skills.
• Travel requirements of position is approximately 15%
The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000 - $170,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 30% of an employee’s annual base salary.
